loft makes a great 'watchtower' when the shutters are open
A three-season bunkhouse
Built over ten years ago by the owner and her two young sons, this was the original structure on the property, no electricity or running water back then - just breezes coming through the 360o clerestory screens; and the sounds of the loons calling in the night.
Today the bunkhouse is attached to the four-season main house by the mudroom with a full bath with claw foot tub just steps away and electricity too!
A full-size bed on the main level and three canvas cots with flannel sleeping bags in the loft over the screen porch; provide several sleeping options - great as the kids/teen hideaway or a private area for a family.
